on thanksgiving my family always does the same thing. on thanksgiving mooring i wake up and i turn on the Macy’s thanksgiving parade. when we are getting ready to go to my Grandma and grandpas house we watch the parade. then once we are ready we go to my  Grandma and grandpa Osburn’s house for brunch and a dinner at like 2:00. after dinner we go to my grandma Gaye and Grandpa Bruce’s house for pie and i get to see all my cousins. that is what i do on thanksgiving!!

On Tuesday November 17 Michigan State’s Men basket ball team played Gonzaga. MSU won 45 to 41 and i got to go to the game. it was a very interesting game. MSU scored the first point the gonzaga caught up. they kept leading but then we caught up. the game started at 8:00 and i didn’t get home until 11:15. i love watching the games live and i am so so so so glad that my dad brought me with him. i love MSU and i’m glad they won!!!!!

today our assignment was to go to the Lansing state journal website and find an interesting story. i chose the story about the swine flu. i chose this story because i really want to know about this stuff because i am scared of it. on the web page was a list of the people who should get the shot first and here is the list.

1. pregnant women

2. people who have kids under the age of 6 months

3. people who work in health care

4. people ages 6 months – 24 years

5. people 25 years – 64 years that have medical issues.

i am glad that i would be second to last because i am terrified of needles. Also there are not many vaccines available so the people at the top of the list should get it first!! i really hope that i do not need to get it, it i do i will probably get the mist that goes up your nose!! that is some information about the H1N1.

i would definitely not want to where a uniform to school. having the freedom to where what we want to school(whale still following the rules) helps us have a peronality of our own. if we had to where uniforms then we would all look sum what the same and we would not be able to express our self’s. some people that i know said that they like them because they don’t have to pick out their outfits every day. that would be a little helpful but i love to where my own style of clothes. that s how i feel about wearing uniforms.

i chose a picture of a black lab. i chose this picture because i used to have a black lab but then we had to put her down.i loved my puppy. her name was Missie and she was the best dog ever. we put her down about five yeas ago. it was weird not having a dog in the house after that because i grew up with Missie. two years ago for christmas my mom and dad got my sister and i a puppy. he is a light brown pug and beagle mix (puggle). i love him his name is chance and it is so so so much better having a dog in the house again!!

if i were president for a day this is what i would do. i would try and help out the economy by giving homeless people money and try to make it so there are not as many jobless people. Also i would try to bring some of the troops home for thanksgiving and Christmas. for the ones that would not be able to come home i would organize a drive where people could send cards and gifts to there friends and families that are fighting in the war. that would help out with all the peace that needs to be in this country. that is what  i would do if i were president for a day!!!

I am not positive what i want to be when i grow up. in mr wrights class we had to pretend to be entrepreneurs  and we got to pick what job we wanted. i picked owning a bakery so i guess that is what i want to do when i grow up.
